Advocate

Crittenton Services for Children and Families ensures that our agency is building strong, sustainable, and productive relationships with partner organizations, elected officials, and community members that take interest in supporting our mission. Through our local advocacy efforts in conjunction with the advocacy initiatives of the National Crittenton organization, we inform and educate key representatives in government, the legislature, and the community about issues important to child welfare and children’s mental health. In addition, we also advocate for increased program and funding resources for those causes in the community that align with our mission and help disrupt the cycles of poverty, neglect, or generational system-involvement.

You can help us by lending your voice, platform, network or resources in variety of ways. If you believe that your goals and values are a good match with our overall mission please feel free to reach out to us to discuss potential partnership opportunities.

Partner with Crittenton

We are committed in doing the groundwork necessary to have a positive impact on current legislation, policy and practice that will ultimately improve the well-being of system-involved children, youth and families. However, it will take an entire team of advocates to make a positive difference in the lives of the most vulnerable children and youth in our community. If you are looking for a like minded organization to partner with on advocacy driven awareness campaigns, or are seeking a subject matter expert for input on legislative analysis or a speaker at a conference feel free to reach out to us.  We can potentially help in a variety of ways including:

Supporting the implementation of legislation that aligns with our mission and values.

Participating in conferences, speaker engagements, and providing testimony for legislative hearings that align with our organizational goals.

Working with elected officials, government and community partners to advance initiatives relating to the well-being of the children and families we serve.

Crittenton is such a dynamic organization that, over the past 50 years, has demonstrated the ability to respond to the changing needs of the children and families they serve. This agility can be attributed to strong leadership and support from so many community organizations with similar missions. I am proud to be a Crittenton supporter.
