Digital Ambassadors Needed for Crittenton’s 50th Anniversary
Did you know that 2016 marks a very special moment in Florence Crittenton of Orange County’s history???
You don’t know…well let me be the first to tell you… this year marks our 50th Anniversary year!
And we are excited to celebrate our mission’s history, our service track record, and getting the opportunity to thank all those that contribute to our brand reputation.
Whether you are a longtime donor, a dedicated volunteer or one of the nearly 500 talented employees that keep us going we want to take this time to collectively thank all of you.
So, how will we do this you ask? Well you’ll probably notice as we progress throughout the year that we will be covering a little more about the history of the Orange County Crittenton on our website blog.
We will also highlight the importance of the role our volunteers, interns, and employees make in helping to accomplish the Crittenton mission.
And not to mention getting busy producing the Crittenton 50th Anniversary Edition of our agency infographic (that serves as our annual report moving forward); a custom Crittenton 50th Anniversary gift for employees that pays homage to our history; and even a “new video” celebrating our mission set to launch this summer!
Even though our official birthday month is in June it doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate our anniversary this entire year! And that is exactly what we plan to do.
But, we need your help Team Crittenton…can’t do this by ourselves. So, we ask that if you read something you like on our blog, our social media or even see a cool story about us featured in the newspaper or on TV make sure to let people know about it!
Sharing our needs and our successes via “your” social media networks helps us get the word out. And we would love it if you would consider becoming a “Crittenton Digital Ambassador” during our 50th Anniversary campaign.
Let your network know that we always are in need of donations, that we have a couple of fundraisers coming up (including Mystery Night 2016), or even share the fact that we need the help of compassionate foster care parents to keep our mission going.
Every action you take on your social media for the purpose of “good” will help us. Trust us…it does!
So, we ask you Team Crittenton can you help out this year? Will you become our digital ambassadors? Can you share our history, share our needs, share our story via your Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or whatever other platform you’re on?
Thank you for considering…our goal is to let the entire universe know how wonderful all of you are in response to our mission. And a good way to get people to learn more about what you do, what our youth go through, and what cool things our volunteers are up to…is when we share the info!
