Crittenton Services for Children and Families, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is a social services agency that works on behalf of children and families in need. We also advocate for laws, policies and procedures in order to enhance the protection of the clients we serve. We do, however, understand that from time to time you may find yourself in disagreement with what is seen on Crittenton’s social media presence, or may not necessarily support our work. However, at times like this, please keep in mind that it’s safer, more polite, and more persuasive to take issue with the commentary rather than attacking at a personal level.
The Crittenton Services for Children and Families social media presence functions on mutual respect and cooperation.
We request that you pay careful attention on how “you” interact with others as teasing, sarcasm, or indignant anger may not travel well with the rest of Crittenton’s online community.
Please remember that words you enter in a burst of passion may be viewed on our channels for you and everyone to review. This policy and these guidelines are not meant to discourage spontaneity or expression, but merely to remind you of the long-term existence and effects of what you contribute online.
While we strongly encourage debate and civil discourse within our online community, we do not wish to provide a venue for commentary that relies on unfounded claims, misinformation, disrespectful language, or inappropriate discussion. We request you to avoid “obscene” or “hate” language (no, we are not going to try to define; every state, county, and local community has a different definition), as we are a diverse community of individuals with varying standards.
We reserve the right to delete any such comments, report inappropriate users to authorities, or ban any users who continually abuse our social media and commenting policy.
*Please note that the views expressed by commentators throughout our social media presence do not necessarily reflect the views of Crittenton Services for Children and Families.
We welcome your participation as a means of sharing your own experiences, suggestions, and chiming in on the conversation. To keep our community focused we have set some guidelines for use:
