Thank you for considering Crittenton’s Foster Care Program as a way of helping the children we serve find a safe and nurturing home. Thousands of children enter the foster care system each year and range in age from infants to young adults. These children are in need of a safe place to live when their biological family is unable to care for them due to various reasons including abuse, neglect, abandonment, or even exploitation.
Crittenton serves children in need of a foster or resource families but oftentimes it is difficult to fulfill this mission on our own. Therefore we are always looking for qualified foster or resource parents to help us in our mission to take care of the most vulnerable children in our community. Foster or resource parents play a vital role in caring for the children and youth we serve, and by all accounts the rewards of helping a child succeed is immeasurable.
If you would like to know more about our program and are interested in experiencing the joys of making a meaningful difference in a young person’s life, then becoming a foster or resource parent might be for you.

“I am eternally grateful for what the Valdez family did for me and how they were willing to accept me as one of their own without judgment. Even though Mrs. Valdez is not my biological mother, I still see her as my mother, she and the entire Valdez family protected me and did more for me than what my own biological family was not capable of doing.” Former Crittenton Foster Youth
