Crittenton Mystery Night is Back!

Crittenton Mystery Night is Back!

Last year’s Mystery Night event was the most attended Spring fundraiser Crittenton Services for Children and Families has had in a while. It was also somewhat bitter sweet as last year’s event was supposed to be an end of an era. The local dinner theater event that happened every March in North Orange County had lost its steam and was going to be replaced with another idea for this year’s event schedule.

However, after months of chatter, a number of donors, community members, and even the local acting troupe that had always helped out didn’t want to see the event fizzle out. The Crittenton leadership team managing the Mystery Night set-up was pleasantly surprised of the interest received in support of bringing back the fundraiser for one last time!

Therefore, we are proud to announce that Crittenton’s Mystery Night Event is back and is scheduled for Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The event is being sponsored and will be hosted at Angelo’s and Vinci’s Ristorante located at 550 N. Harbor Blvd. Fullerton, CA. 92832.

“We’ve had a great response from donors and friends in the community that would like to take part in the dinner theater event again this year,” said Martha Jasso, Crittenton’s Communications Director, “Its been rather sweet to know that the local community takes interest in connecting with us; takes interest in learning about our mission; and takes interest in advocating for youth experiencing many emotional and economical hardships in their lives. We can’t thank our supporters enough. We simply wouldn’t be able to help the kids in our care without their advocacy.”

Both the event ticket sales and silent auction proceeds will tremendously benefit the well-being of the youth in our care. All funding that will be raised at Mystery Night will go towards helping the teen girls placed in Crittenton’s InSight Program. This short-term residential treatment program, which is highly regarded throughout the state of California, and has helped young victims of commercial sexual exploitation and other forms of extreme child abuse cope with the aftermath of violence and trauma.

We are currently taking reservations; event sponsorships; auction items or direct donations for those interested in helping young victims of abuse receive quality mental health services that they deserve.

Together we can help break the cycles of abuse and create a safe and healthy community where all children and youth can thrive and grow.
