Golfing for Education: Crittenton’s Annual Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction
As summer winds down and its time to think about your September calendar why not consider an end of the season round of golf?
Come join our support base, volunteers, and longtime friends as we take a swing into Fall and help raise funds for education.
We cordially invite you for the Crittenton Services for Children and Families (CSCF) Annual ‘Community for Kids’ Golf Tournament, Dinner, and Auction being held at the picturesque Yorba Linda Country Club on Monday, September 15, 2014.
This year we are showing thanks to local heroes as this annual golf tournament is honoring the many contributions to public safety of our local fire and police departments.
Your support also helps continue a more than 45-year history of successful treatment and recovery for children and families in crisis. All proceeds raised at the event go directly towards Crittenton’s Education Program. Our education program helps youth placed in Crittenton’s Residential Treatment Program earn their high school diploma, GED or high school equivalency certification. We also help our youth with specialized training programs such as the Regional Occupational Program (ROP), personal development and life skills preparation.
Most of our youth have not had the time to learn the academic and vocational skills they need as family strife and personal chaos have made survival the only skill on which they could focus. As a golfer, dinner guest or a donor you help make the recovery process possible for our community’s most vulnerable.
Not a golfer? Not a problem! Part of our event also includes a helicopter drop with a chance to win a $500 gift card, a delicious dinner and a fun auction for those that simply want to spend time meeting new people and enjoy a friendly atmosphere.
All are welcome to attend and you have the liberty to choose what portion of the fundraiser you would like to participate in.
