Metaphive PR Group Gets a Taste of Non-Profit

Our journey with Crittenton Services for Children and Families (CSCF) began when our student based Public Relations class at California State University, Fullerton required us to find a nonprofit organization to volunteer our time and skills.

When we came across Crittenton, through our team lead Yasmin Mata, we felt an immediate connection to this non-profit’s organizational mission. We strongly believe in their values and the right of every child to have a healthy relationship and loving family.

Our team, Metaphive PR is a student- based Public Relations agency, composed of 5 members: Melissa Landino, Shelby Maes, Yasmin Mata, Kristen Shelby  and Issela Castro. We have had the honor to work closely with Martha Jasso, Director of Communications, for the agency and her true love and energy for people and Crittenton amazes us. Martha is a breath of fresh air to the organization, and has a true passion for helping others. Under her leadership, we have worked on much needed internal public relations projects for the non-profit.

During our time with Crittenton, we attended their Annual Management Leadership Summit and the Crittenton Employee Bravo Awards where we saw their communal efforts and compassion to reaching their agency’s goals.

The Crittenton staff does such a remarkable job helping all these families in need; part of our internal campaign projects recognizes and appreciates all the life-changing efforts Crittenton employees accomplish on behalf of the children and families the agency serves.

Working with Crittenton has definitely been a life changing experience for all of us at Metaphive PR, not only professionally in the public relations field but also in our own personal lives.

Crittenton most certainly believes, achieves and empowers.
